An American in Spain

Designing, building, and fixing things. A big fan of self-improvement.

Originally from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, I've been living in the north of Spain since 2013. I fell in love with Spain while studying abroad in Santander during my college years at UNCW. Since then, I've moved around a bit, living in Bilbao, Castro-Urdiales, Ferrol, Santander, and León before landing in Madrid. I'm quite a minimalist and really good at packing up my life and moving apartments!

Some things I'm up to these days: learning to play the violin, drumming in a batucada (Brazilian drum group), traveling when time and money permit, photography (especially with a 100mm macro lens), and learning to code.
